Frequently Asked Questions
The AVIRT program is offered at no charge for qualifying schools and churches. While the course is free for these groups, we do accept donations and sponsorships to help cover our operational costs and pay our instructors.
For private instruction for businesses and other organizations, the fee is $2,500 for up to 15 employees. It is an additional $1,500 for up to 30 employees. For groups larger than 30, please contact us for a custom quote.
Individual classes are offered frequently through open enrollment at a fee of $250 per person, with an additional fee of $100 for each family member. Check our calendar for the schedule.

Our training courses can be held at your organization’s location for your convenience, or at the HelpNow office in Lutz, Florida, upon request. We work with you to find the best location for your team.
Yes. All of our instructors are licensed and certified through the Health & Safety Institute (HSI). They are a core part of our veteran and first-responder team, bringing a wealth of real-world knowledge to the classroom.
The AVIRT course is typically a three-hour session. This includes both classroom instruction and hands-on drills. Participants are also required to complete a blended learning portion of online education prior to the start of the class.
Yes. Upon successful completion of the course, each participant receives an official AVIRT certification. It is recommended to take a refresher course annually to maintain your skills and stay current with best practices.

HelpNow is an HSI-approved training center that offers a variety of ways for your organization to get full certification in CPR, AED, First Aid, and advanced programs such as Basic Life Support (BLS).
