What We Do

Building a Resilient Florida
Our Reactive Approach

On the Front Lines After a Disaster

When a natural disaster strikes, our trained teams don't wait for a call—we are the boots on the ground, ready to deploy. We act as the "tip of the spear," venturing into affected areas to provide immediate relief and support where it's needed most.

Search & Rescue

We navigate treacherous conditions to locate those in need, often with the support of our skilled K9 units, and facilitate safe evacuations.

Debris & Road Clearing

We utilize specialized equipment, including chainsaws and heavy machinery, to clear paths and restore access to isolated communities.

Mobile Command & Aid

This MCC can serve as nerve center for search and rescue efforts or as an oasis for storm ravaged community members.
Our Proactive Approach

Preparing Communities for the Unpredictable

We are committed to helping Floridians be ready for what’s to come. Our preventative mission focuses on providing critical, life-saving knowledge to the public, equipping individuals and organizations to become immediate responders. This foundational work reduces casualties, lessens the impact of events, and takes pressure off of our professional first responders.

  • AVERT®: Active Violence Emergency Response Training: We empower civilians with the mindset and practical skills to react to active violence and apply critical “Stop the Bleed” techniques.
  • CPR/AED Certification: We provide hands-on training that gives people the power to save a life in a cardiac emergency.
  • Hurricane Preparedness Workshops: We guide Floridians through a comprehensive, step-by-step process to secure their families and property for the storm season.

Our Unique Advantage: The Big Picture

What sets HelpNow Project apart is our unique blend of expertise and our holistic approach to service. We are a unified force of veterans, first responders, and trained volunteers who operate under the strict, organized principles of the Incident Command System (ICS).

This professional methodology, combined with our self-sufficient mobile assets, allows us to integrate seamlessly with official government entities like FEMA and the Coast Guard. We are not just a group of volunteers; we are a trained and disciplined force, dedicated to serving our community with the highest level of professionalism and care.

Our goal is not just to respond to one disaster but to build a more resilient Florida for all. By preparing and responding in a coordinated, effective way, we are contributing to the long-term safety and well-being of our community.
